Porsche Mayfair Exclusive Lounge

We were privileged to be invited to design a concept for the Exclusive Lounge at the Porsche Dealership in London’s Mayfair. Collaborating closely with the Porsche team in Stuttgart, we drew inspiration from our interactive installation at the Shanghai Autoshow 2023. There, visitors engaged directly with painted samples to explore the Paint to Sample color lineup. For the lounge, we adapted this approach to represent Porsche’s entire product range—not just a single model. After users select their preferred car model, integrated indicator lights dynamically display the available color options, a concept borrowed from our innovative fitting lounge design.

To ensure a seamless, plug-and-play installation, we engineered a scalable solution featuring custom PCBs and a bespoke UART-based network protocol, supporting up to 255 individually addressable switches. The production process encompassed stamped aluminum, sheet metal, custom PCBs, and 3D-printed parts—all meticulously coordinated by our team here in Shanghai. Following a successful test installation at our warehouse, the finished system was shipped to London, where it was integrated into the dealership’s Exclusive Lounge.
