Taycan Racing Table

Based on a interactive module presented at the IAA in Frankfurt, Porsche China commissioned us to create a dynamic display where users can pit the Taycan Turbo S—represented by a model car gliding across the table—against six “really fast” opponents, visualized at the same scale on an ultra-wide screen embedded in the table. Combining physical motion, 3D animation, lighting, and sound, this immersive experience debuted at the Porsche Booth during the 2019 IAA in Frankfurt. RedRabbit later adapted the design for the 2020 Fascination Porsche roadshow, engineering all mechanics and content from scratch to deliver a seamless, memorable spectacle.

Tailored for a Chinese audience, the roadshow version incorporated local flair: races unfolded across a Chinese countryside backdrop, with the Taycan Turbo S pitted against the iconic Monkey King. RedRabbit handled every detail—table design, manufacturing, technical planning, hardware customization, software development, 3D animation, system integration, and onsite setup.
